A personal note

Dear Reader,

It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the pages of The Meryton Chronicle.

In the months ahead, you will find society news, curious correspondence, whispers of scandal, and accounts of life in and around our bustling market town.

Though some names may already be known to you, I daresay there are many stories yet to be discovered, not all of them confined to the drawing rooms of Hertfordshire.

I hope this first Season, told across three monthly installments and the first of a four season collection culminating in a wedding edition, brings a little anticipation, a little delight, and a world you will be glad to return to each month.

Is this a subscription

No. Season One is a one time purchase. You will receive three curated deliveries across three months, with no recurring payments.

If you prefer to pay in instalments, you can spread the cost into three equal payments. Simply select Klarna at checkout.

A monthly subscription will be introduced in the near future, with more details to be shared soon.

When will my first delivery be dispatched?

Founder Edition orders are expected to begin dispatching from 27 April 2026, with subsequent deliveries following monthly.

What countries do you deliver to?

Free UK delivery is included as standard.

International customers only pay the additional postage above UK delivery charge.

International shipping is available to the following select countries:
Australia, Belgium, Canada, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Japan, Netherlands, Republic of Ireland, Singapore, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, USA.

Will this be available later?

Season One is launching as a limited Founder Edition print run, with exclusive curios and only 50 available places.

A standard Season One, along with future Seasons Two to Four, will follow. However, this first release will not be repeated in the same form, and future seasons will not include the exclusive Founder Edition curios.

That’s not to say there won’t be new delights to discover in future seasons.

What is your returns policy?

Returns & Cancellation Policy

We want every reader to enjoy their journey with The Meryton Chronicle with confidence and clarity.

You may cancel your order within 14 days of purchase, provided that your first Chronicle dispatch has not yet been sent. If cancelled during this period, a full refund will be issued.

If your first dispatch has already been delivered and you are still within the 14 day cooling off period, any items received must be returned unused and in their original condition before a refund can be issued.

Season One is sold as a complete three part Chronicle collection delivered across three monthly dispatches, so once the 14 day cancellation period has passed, the order is considered fulfilled and is not eligible for return or refund.

Return postage costs are also the responsibility of the customer.
