The Meryton Chronicle is a letterbox experience, where each dispatch takes the form of a Regency themed newspaper inspired by Jane Austen’s Pride and Prejudice. Each issue is printed on authentic 60gsm improved newsprint and delivered as though straight from the parlours of bon ton society.

You’ll discover unheard stories and the voices of background characters offering fresh perspectives and yes, all the tea, on the familiar world of Meryton. The stories are interwoven with thoughtfully researched connections inspired by Jane Austen’s life and the Regency world. Accompanying every newspaper is a paired Chronicle Curio set, carefully designed ephemera intended to create an experience you can hold in your hands. More than reading, this is a blend of story and keepsake, one dispatch at a time.

HOW IT WORKS

• Choose how your journey begins with either the 3 Month, 6 Month or Complete Chronicle subscription.
• Each month, an issue of The Meryton Chronicle is delivered to your door, accompanied by its paired Chronicle Curio set, for the duration of your chosen subscription.
• All subscriptions begin at the same point in the story - October 1811, shortly after Netherfield is Let at Last!
• From there, the narrative unfolds in chronological order, allowing the events of Pride and Prejudice and unheard stories to be experienced as they occur, with every dispatch offering its own amusements, correspondence, and keepsakes.
