The Experience
Romance, society gossip and a new reimagined way to experience Pride and Prejudice! The Meryton Chronicle is a year long, Regency inspired newspaper experience where you get to peek behind the hedgerows and drawing room doors to discover the hidden stories that stirred in the background of Darcy, Elizabeth and the lively households of Meryton. Each issue shares fresh perspectives, whispered scandals and the untold stories of background characters that bring Meryton society to life in all its Austen-esque delight. A charming blend of story and keepsake, each thoughtfully researched newspaper comes with a fun bundle of Regency inspired curios from pamphlets and recipe cards to collectible keepsakes.
How It Works
Your journey begins in October 1811, shortly after Netherfield is Let At Last! From there, you’ll receive one newspaper each month in chronological order, giving you a 12 month experience of Meryton society and stories. No matter when you begin your subscription, the story always starts at the beginning, so you’ll never miss a single issue, as and when all the on dit happens! Each newspaper is researched and thoughtfully designed, filled not only with Austen-inspired characters but also with delightful Regency keepsakes.
If you delight in the world of Jane Austen and yearn for a charming diversion, consider this your most cordial invitation to subscribe forthwith or risk being the very last in Meryton to know!
Why, even Mr. Darcy would struggle to stay away from this particular amusement!
Created in honour of the 250th Austenversary to celebrate Jane Austen’s enduring legacy in this most delightful manner.
